TT787 Air Hammer Metal Forming Kit Interchangeable Heads Bodywork Panel Tool
Description
π§ Product Overview
Unbranded interchangeable metal-forming kit designed for shaping, rough-forming and smoothing automotive body panels and other suitable sheet metal.
The kit includes two striking bodies: a red hand-held body that can be used as a manually supported forming dolly, and a Parker-taper striking body designed to fit a compatible pneumatic air hammer. Interchangeable metal and non-marking heads allow the working face to be selected according to the material and required panel profile.
The set matches the design of the Neilsen CT1201 metal-forming kit, but this example is unbranded and is not represented as being manufactured by Neilsen.

π¨ Two Operating Methods
Manual striking body
The red-handled body can be held behind a panel and used as a compact forming dolly. A body hammer or slapping tool can then be used from the opposite side to shape or smooth the panel against the selected forming head.
Pneumatic striking body
The black Parker-taper body is designed to fit a compatible air hammer, allowing the selected head to deliver repeated powered blows for faster rough-forming work. The matching CT1201 specification states compatibility with a standard 0.401-inch Parker-taper air hammer.
π§° Forming Heads
The set includes six interchangeable heads in different materials and profiles:
- 3 Γ smaller flat forming heads
- 3 Γ larger radiused forming heads
- Metal heads in steel, brass and aluminium-type finishes
- White non-marking heads for work where reduced surface marking is required
The equivalent configuration is specified with flat and radiused heads intended for different panel shapes and forming requirements.
